*American Red Cross radio with crank (I have one) *American Red Cross flashlight with crank (I have one) *Walkie Talki *Anybody into ham radios? wondering if the grid goes down, how might we get messages out to relatives and friends or call for help *Survival books and homeopathic medical books *Fire extinguishers depending on the situation *Whistles/bells/binoculars/mirrors/flashlights for signaling *Bags to hang food in trees if outdoors to protect from bears, etc... *Candles/matches/fuel lanterns to save batteries *Hatchets/hammers/shovels/axes/saws for firewood *Lots of different lengths of rope & twine *Lots of tarps for rain and tent pads *Lots of plastic bags in various sizes *plenty of buckets for carrying water which can be overturned for stools/chairs es
