I'm Stephanie. I'm a 41 year old disable Army veteran. I have experience in organizing and getting things up and running. I live in Martinsburg, WV, about 90 miles north of DC.

I'm Joanne. I'm very low-maintenance and self-sufficient, so I have most of what I need for myself. I am just realizing that anyone alone, especially a single woman, probably isn't going to make it very far with a ton of supplies without getting raped or robbed or worse. I live near Washington Dulles International Airport, so I'm only at @300' elevation, so even a small tsunami will take out my place. I'm in need of a place to either move or store my stuff that is protected and/or hidden to where I know it will likely be there when I need it. In my younger days, I backpacked in the Swiss Alps for a couple months, and they use to call me "Jungle Joanne" at my church for all the camping trips I planned. I just need to join with a group for protection and security, as well as logistics and help with the heavy lifting. I also like pleasant surroundings, so I'm hoping to meet people who will make a possible disaster into as easygoing a situation as possible. If you make the best of things you can't control, and try to have a good attitude, any terrible place can be much more tolerable. I train for every possible scenario disaster, and personality conflicts are usually the common denominator which ruins the event for everyone. I hope we can all agree that it is much easier to go through hard times with uplifting people around us instead of complainers and lazy whiners.  |

Hi, I'm Satsat and I live very close to Dulles Airport, too. I'm disabled and will possibly be immobile without medicine, but que sera, sera. I really like and agree with Joanne about having a positive attitude. In fact, I just finished posting on that topic. The Beauty of Earth Changes, not just the trauma
Let me know if I can help with anything. My family and friends don't know what to think of me and my views lately. I feel like Richard Dreyfuss in the Close Encounters movie because I've been so intrigued by this. Not obsessed I hope. But I have been seeing UFOs or at least I was until the chemtrails got so bad. The world is suddenly full of possibilities. I think there are "good" and "bad" ETs and the "baddees" have our world by the balls so to speak because either they are the world leaders or they control them. I think the challenge of this situation is to choose love, not fear and to avoid repeating the same dynamic that exploited our Earth to the brink.
My husband is not on board with relocating or much preparing, but I know life is mutual so it will all work out somehow. 
Also, I'm not a Christian, so if that matters to you, I guess you should know now.

Hi Stephanie, and everyone;
Thanks for starting the group Stephanie, it's so nice to know there're others "nearby" with similar concerns.
At the present, I have no real crisis training, but I'm reading emergency guides and books such as Gardening When it Counts.
My hobbies are food growing in small spaces; sewing; fiber spinning; and dog training.
It's really very hard to imagine a disaster scenario; but it does need to be addressed with the times we're living in. It's always good to have some type of plan.
So, thanks again; and 'looking forward to the learning!

Hello everybody,
My name is Jason and I live in Baltimore MD. I have been tracking this planetary system since December 2015. I found out about it a year or so ago while learning about Egypt and other ancient civilizations. They were all telling the same story with great intent, it was written in stone. Knowing well to never ignore history I immediately began seeking out any information related to this cyclical catastrophic event. The backlog of books to read is piling up.
In late December while reviewing NASA solar imagery I noticed something appeared behind the sun which did not match up to anything I have seen before. Another sun-like fireball was approaching fast. I began to start searching on YouTube for anyone else who may be seeing it too. Steve Olson was on it.
Last week something began unfolding quickly. Something arrived in vicinity of the earth. It's a planetary system and what I have observed is quite astounding. My family and friends think I'm crazy although my mother listens to me and shows the most interest. Bless her heart. I have my own YouTube channel named playjays.
In the meantime I have developed a bug out plan and since I'm on top of this daily I will have the upper hand. I will know when to leave if necessary.

Hello all, I am Carolyn. I am a 67, retir d biology teacher, with some physics and chemistry background. I started out with nursing training and have some basic first aid, cpr and vital signs competency. My organizational skills as a teacher help in a lot of areas. However, I am limited in funds and a very late starter in preparedness. Camping was usual in my early years, so being in the wilderness is something I enjoyed. I have a very high focus on spiritual preparedness., So much that I felel am so heavenly minded that I may be of no earthly good. I'm trying to balance the two. I am particularly interested in what I am familiar with.....food, outdoor cooking, foraging for many uses of plants, helping to gather supplies,, and finding a plac. I am here because I know I need to be a part of a group, since I am single. I stumbled on WSO when I googled Wormwood while studying the Book of Revelation. So in December I became a strong follower of this system. I am presently an admin with Michelle VA who is also on this site. We have communicated some already. When I first started with awareness, I prayed and felt confident of God's protection for me as a believer. I believe according to Revelation, that this event is the wrath of Vod on the evil and sin in the world and the only escape is through Jesus Christ as a believer in Him. It is written, that those who call on the Name of the Lord will be saved eternally. Some will die but be ushered into the presence of God. Those believers,still alive, will be caught up (raptured.).therefore I am trying to balance between both spiritual and physical survival. I do appreciate all that you have started and look forward to contributing.
