I've hunted before but it's been a long time, and I always used other people's guns, so I've never owned one.
Prefer bow hunting since it is silent and doesn't give away that we have guns.
A tree stand would be nice. anybody got a tree stand?
My ex-boyfriend always cleaned them for me though, so I'm not much on butchering, but I can hang deer and skin them and at least get the back strap off. Legs/thighs/hips are easy; it's the insides I never had to deal with.
We should have lots of salt to make jerky if we get desperate and there isn't any refrigeration.
We should have some shotguns for duck, pheasant, quail hunting. Squirrels are good, but too much trouble for how much meat you get.
We will need spices and flour and oil to fry any fowl/fish.
